3 day weekends every week????:)

This past weekend was a very nice weekend. I think that all weekends should be 3 days (I guess 4 in my case):). On Saturday Alec and I went over the the beach. It was a pretty nice day, but pretty cold. We hung out there for a while and Alec had a chance to fly his sweet kite. Then on Monday we went mountain biking in the morning and then hung out with Scott and the girls in the afternoon. It was a very nice weekend!

Here is Alec riding around with Taye. She has just started to ride without her training wheels, pretty awesome!!! She was even going off the curves and stuff, this girl is a star:).
So we were playing football with Addie at the park. She is quit the football player, I guess she is taking after her dad. She was a "super star", just ask her:).

Taye and I just pulling funny faces, while Addie was behind the camera practicing her photography skills! Don't you love Taye's new hair cute. So cute!!!
Another self-portrait. Don't you love Alec's hat! Go BYU!
Ok, so mountain biking was a blast, but I have to say I really thought I was going to die this time. No joke! Ok, so I am always going to die when I go mountain biking, but really this time I thought I would. I have a URI (upper respiratory infection) aka a bad cold (but did I sound smart with my Dental Hygiene national board knowledge.:) So I was like this won't effect me at all, oh boy was I wrong. I got to this one point and with a bright red face I told Alec and Scott, that I could not go any further. So I stopped and being a tuff girl (well sorta) I told them to go on without me because I did not want to hold them up. When they left, I realized I had read a sign at the bottom of the mountain that said "do not hike alone, you are in mountain lion territory". Ok, so I did not think about this till after they had left me to die on the mountain by myself:). So I was sitting on this rock and started to think what I would do if a mountain lion came. So I decided to stand up, because first things first, you are supposed to look big. So I unzipped my jacket so that if the mountain lion came I could open my jacket up to look HUGE:). Every little noise was for sure a mountain lion, even though I never actually saw one. I did make it out of there alive and I definitely am excited to go back. I think I will wait until I get rid of this infection though:)

I just thought this picture was cool. This is Alec up in Tahoe when he went skiing for work. The snow looks good, but nothing like Utah and Idaho snow right, well maybe, I guess I have been known for being a "Utah, Idaho snow snob":)

Here is Alec flying his kite!
