"I love you bigger than Mermaids"

So what better compliment can you get from a 4 year old than "I love you bigger than mermaids"?:) Today Alec was talking to Adley on the phone. When they lived nearby, Alec and Adley would always play a game where they would try to say they love each other more than the other person. They would start out with something small and then get to bigger things and try to out do each other. Alec would always say something like a house or something and Adley's reaction was always the same, she would get all wide eyed and say "Whoa". So today on the phone Adley said "Ah Ah, I love you bigger than the mountains, the beach, the ocean, I even love you bigger than mermaids". Alec then went on to try and out do her on the "I love you bigger than's", but really who can beat a 4 year old when they tell you they love you bigger than mermaids. As Alec was getting off the phone with her she said "Ah Ah, will you please call me later". So tonight as we were eating dinner he remembered that he needed to call her. She was in the middle of watching the movie Smerfs with her family, but that did not matter, all she wanted to do was talk to her Ah Ah. I was talking to her for a second and told her that I would let her go so she could watch her movie. Not more than two minutes later did she call Alec back just so she could talk to him longer. We sure love our little girlies and miss them tons!!
