Memorial Day

So for memorial day we just hung around here. I thought I was going to have to work on Saturday, so we stayed around the area. I ended up not having to work, but we were glad we stayed around, it was a great weekend. On Saturday Alec and Mike found this knew mountain biking trail. So Alec and I went to try it out on Monday. Ok, so the first is hard, at least for me. There was so much mud on our tires, the tires would not even move so we had to hike up with our bikes at some points. This was definitely the prettiest bike path I have yet to go on.
Here is the picture of our tires, the mud is just caked on there!

So after you do the climb you drop down into the meadow. It was totally awesome!!!!! When we get more time I think we are going to go up a bit higher and I guess there are some springs up in the meadow somewhere.

Here is Alec rinsing off our bikes in the stream after we were finished.

After we went mountain biking we headed down to my parents house to go hiking. We decided to go up Adam's canyon which I am totally shocked I have never done before. It was beautiful!!!

Here was the first crossing over the river. Isn't it a beautiful river!

Here we are at our destination. We had to wade through water to get to the waterfall, but it was well worth it. It was so pretty.

After the water fall we had to hustle down to make sure we got out before dark. We literally were running down, which lets be honest with wet shoes is not the smartest things!:) We did stop for this one last picture near these rocks where the water was coming out between them. It was really cool!

So that was our memorial day! I was completely and totally exhausted after the day was over, but it was a great day!

I wish we could have been there with you guys. We totally miss you! :( It sounds like things are going well though, so we're happy for you (even if we have no Em and Alec to hang out with).
