Fishing in the Uintas

Yesterday, my dad, Mike, Alec, and I woke up way to early for a Saturday and headed up to Christmas Meadows in the Unitas to give fishing a try. My dad had gone a week ago and thought we would have fun going and fishing on the river. So on Friday night my parents were watching the news and they said it might snow up on Mirror Lake highway tomorrow. Yes, that is exactly where we were headed. No it did not snow, but it sure felt like it could. It was chilly!!! So hiking into the river was a bit interesting, there were these areas covered by the weeds where if you stepped in you would feel like you would never get out. We all ended up catching a fish, and my dad decided to catch a few more than the rest of us. We ended up having a great time and we decided fishing could be something that we decide to do again!
