Old Town- Puerto Rico

After a long flying day, Alec and I finally got to San Juan. The only place we could find open that was not buko dollars was Chilli's, which ended up being pretty yummy. It is funny though, there time is not a matter or something, because I swear to you it took forever to even get a waiter and then you get your food like an hour or two later and then getting the check is a whole other story.
So for our hotel, we got the cheapest thing we could find. Hotels in Puerto Rico are expensive!!! So our hotel looked ok from the outside and when you walked in the lobby, it looked great. Then you proceeded to the elevator to go to the room.... ghetto. As we were walking to our room, I was honestly a little creeped out. Then we arrived at our room, we went to turn the door knob and it totally creeped open, yep without us even turning the knob, yeah for sure now I was totally freaked out. We then walked in the room, and it was awesome! We had the only room in the place with a balcony and the ocean was RIGHT there. So we got someone to come and fix the door and we enjoyed the ocean sounds all night.

On Sunday before boarding the cruise ship, we decided to walk around the forts in Old Town. They were pretty awesome!












After walking around the forts, we walked around the quaint streets of Old Town. I loved the blue cobbled streets. So cute!


As we were sailing away, Alec got some night pics of San Juan.

We were then off for our cruise, and super happy to be so!
