Well, as our plans to head to Tahoe for Labor Day weekend fell through we decided to enjoy other things like the beach and BYU football game. I have to say go BYU, they played so great and I am sure hoping that they can pull all together this weekend and beat Olsen and UCLA.:) Well, besides just the game, Alec and I decided to head to the beach on Labor Day. We met up with some people from our ward and played a little beach volleyball. Girls vs. Boys, oh yes, the girls came off as the winners. Then Alec and I decided to stick around to fly our "huge" kite, or at least try to fly it. Alec was doing so great with it, it looked so easy I decided to give it a try. After many attempts and a very wet kite we decided to go and have a bone fire. Alec's fam met us at the beach to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. It was a great day, and I loved having the four day weekend. I think that should be the norm.:)

I am glad that you had a fun time at the beach! I think we need to play some more volleyball, boys vs. girls. (lol) I am so glad we found your blog.
