Happy Fathers Day to the best dad ever!

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to my dad on Father's day. I really do have the best dad ever! He is such a great guy who I look up to and love a ton! He is so even toned (I wish I were more like him). People will ask me about when my dad gets mad, and honestly, I really don't remember him getting mad, maybe a little frustrated at times, but never mad! I don't think I have ever heard him yell, which I admire so much. He is so fun to be around and always wanting to get to the "destination" whether that be in Yellowstone or on a hike in our back yard.
This picture was taken in Wyoming, near Teton National Park. We went on this hike and don't you worry there were big huge, massive grizzly bear tracks everywhere, seriously!! As we were hiking, all of us girls were yelling that we wanted to go home and we were going to die and so on and so on (yelling also to hopefully keep the bears away), and my dad just as calm as ever just told us we could turn around if we wanted, but that he, Alec, and Mikey were going to keep going. I swear for a dad to put up with 4 crazy daughters says a lot about him!
This picture was taking up in Wyoming near Jackson Hole. My dad loves to do anything outdoors, maybe besides camping:):). Whether it be snowshoeing, snow skiing, or cross country skiing in the winter, or hiking, canoeing, or just having a BBQ in the backyard with the family he loves to be outside enjoying nature. I have come to love nature so much because of the great memories I have with my dad and family just having fun outside!
I love you dad and hope that you have a great day! I am excited to see you on Tuesday!! Thanks for being such a great dad and someone that I want to be more like and can look to as an example of how I want to be! I love you!

P.S. In church today they said that every man is a "father figure", so even though we are not planning on having kids any time soon (sorry Ash and Annie!:), Happy Fathers day to you too Alec! oh yeah and Steve too, I hope that you enjoy your new grill!:)
