I ask 4 kids

This is the organization that we went with. It is an amazing group of people who put this group together, I was excited to join them on this adventure. We had a group of about 60 or so travel to the Dominican Republic to provide medical and dental for kids. It was a humbling experience to say the least. These people have next to nothing and are so happy. I felt like the hardest thing was that we were only really able to put a band-aid on the problem. I wish we could have got them out of the batey's and helped them to live a better life. The children were so adorable! They loved to get their pictures taken. I hope that this can be something that we are able to do every year. It was very tiring and hard at times, but I felt like these people need us so much. We are so blessed in the U.S. with all the knowledge of medical and dental needs that we have. This just helped me realize this so much more and that the need out their is so great! If you are interested or know someone that might be interested to join this team next year in November or in April (in Haiti), the address is iask4kids.org.
After eating on Sunday we went to the Basilica. It was a huge building. Their were a ton or stray dogs, yuck!!!! People her hiss at you to get your attention or they just yell "you, you", it was funny, but the hissing got annoying after awhile!
Their were two dental hygienist and three dental assistants that came on the trip. It was really cool to work with them!
This was team B, the best team!:) This is the group that we traveled with throughout the week to the different batey's. Their were two teams.
