Painting and Big Waves

Our brother-in-law Mike came down this week to paint a building with Alec. It has not rained here in like 9 months and the one week they decided to paint something, it has been pouring all week. It actually has not slowed them down to much which is nice. They have been painting all day and come home super tired and dirty:).
Yesterday after church we decided to take Mike to Santa Cruz to watch people surf. It was a gorgeous night over their. The waves were huge!!!!! The swells were probably close to 15 feet or even higher at some points. It was really cool! We just sat and watched until it got to dark you could not see the surfers anymore.
We went to another beach in Aptos, the same one we stayed at with my family. The waves were really big here to. We saw at least one whale, we could not tell if their were two out their. This is definitely the beach to come to if you want to see marine wild life, it is awesome!!!!

Here is Mike and Alec in Aptos. So the waves you see behind them, were actually pretty big. We have been to this beach quite a bit and the waves really are not usually that big at all!

Mike is going to love me for putting this picture up. They had just gotten home and look how dirty they were. This was just the first day too after they had been power washing. You should have seen them after they had been spraying paint all day. They looked like giant green monsters.:)

Here they are painting away. This complex they are painting is pretty large. Go Alec and Mike:)

oops, I was thinking they were some fancy artsy men doing an oil painting on canvas of some building until it all became clear to me at the end of your post.

Hey Em! Congratulations on being an RDA! How long will you be in San Fran? Isn't the Prop 8 stuff crazy? I bet SF is really saturated with 'no's?' I'm putting your blog on ours!
