Golf ball size hail (or at least if felt like it)!

So today Alec and I decided to head over to Half Moon Bay and do a quick 1 mile hike/walk. We thought it would be fun just to get out. So we get to the place and start walking and we are thinking man this lighting is awesome for pictures, not realizing it is because there are some ominous clouds in the distance coming our way!!
We get to the end of the 1 mile venture and decide to head up the hill to make it longer. As we were going up there was a lady coming down pretty fast and saying "those are sure some dark clouds guys". We were like yeah, but whatever!





This is when the wind started to pick up. Here we are thinking it is just going to get windy so we better turn back. Not more than 2 seconds after this picture was taken, it started HAILING, seriously it felt like it was snowing. It was so cold. We were running back to our car as fast as we could. We were laughing so hard but wanting to cry at the same time because it was so cold and the hail hurt so bad as it was pelting us in the face!




Not a great picture..... but it shows you how stinking cold and windy it was. We should have taken video.

So by the time we got to the bottom we were both soaked completley from head to toe!! We decided that we better stop at Sam's Chowder house for some good old clam chowder to warm us up. It was yummy and super fun!
