What the????

So the weather said it was going to be nice yesterday and it was. It was beautiful. So we decided we would take advantage of it and head to Point Reyes, this time to be able to see the whales.
As we were driving to get to get across the golden gate we had to drive down by fisherman's wharf. It was such a beautiful day even in the city. People were walking without jackets, crazy huh!:). So it was cool because there was fog but only over the golden gate (this should have told us something)everywhere else it was clear blue sky.
We first stopped in Sausalito to grab some of Alec's favorite pizza. I got the clam chowder and it was delicious!!!! It was great, there was hardly a breeze.



Well, we then set off for our destination, Point Reyes, aka to see the whales. Well, as we get to the park we notice the fog. Yep, it was nice and foggy again. We could not believe it, all we wanted was to see the whales and we thought for sure we would get a clear day today. It was a very pretty drive over though. As we were driving we did decide that if we were cows, we would definitely choose to be cows there, rather than Driggs, ID, burrrrr!!!!
When we got to the lighthouse we new there was really no chance to see the whales, but we had to at least go try. So we hiked down the 300+ stairs to check it out. Yep, no such luck, but it was great fun anyways, and it was not to windy!It was actually more foggy this time than it was the last time we went when it was raining!



It ended up being a really great day though!! We were glad we at least tried. When we got home Marsha got us Su Hong Alec's favorite Chinese food, so it ended up being a great day for us and for Alec's tummy!:):):)
