Jackson Hole

So April was a full month of weekend getaways.  It all started with Baker, and then Jackson Hole.  Because of work Alec and I were not able to leave until after work on Friday, so it was another whirlwind trip.  We got up there on Friday and went and ran in Teton Park.  The park was still closed basically, so the traffic was not bad on the roads that were open, so we had a few nice runs with very little car traffic.  It was so pretty.  We were hoping for better weather, but par for the course this year, it still felt like winter even though we were into mid-April.

On Saturday, Alec, my Dad, and Mike woke up real early to go back country skiing.  None of us at home were that excited for them to go.... since two men had just died in an avalanche a few days earlier.  They promised us that they would be smart, and off they went.... for what they all still talk about as being on of the most fun things they have done, super hard, but they all loved it.

After their long hike, we made them take Dani, Ash, and I up to the park and drive by us as we ran so we did not get attacked by a moose, or better yet get eaten by a bear that is hungry right out of hibernation.

It was a super fun trip.  Love Jackson, no matter what time of year we go, it is always a good time!!
