We have been getting some good snow the last few days. In fact, it is snowing right now and we are loving it. We headed up to Snowbird on Saturday morning. I enjoyed some hot cocoa in the lodge while Alec boarded. It was a gorgeous day. I wish so badly I was out there, but I think I'm taking this year off, just to be on the safe side.
There was a nice layer of powder, but it was so light that you would sink down to the not so much base and hit the rocks. Alec's board is now at REI waiting to be fixed because of all the meetings with the rocks that day.
Not only did Alec's board meet the rocks, so did his thigh..... poor guy!!!
