Just shoveling out from the snow. Alec got a new snow blower and loves every excuse to use it. I'm ready for Spring, but he wants to keep having chances to use his beast:).
I celebrated my 29th b.day... yes I'm am getting really old! We went and watched the world cup aerial event at Deer Valley with my parents the night of my b.day. It was really fun. I wore the wrong shoes though, which meant my Dad and Alec basically dragged me up the hill and then on the way down they told me to ski, grabbed each of my arms and ran down the icy slope. It was pretty dang funny!
We wished the niners would have won this year! We were pretty bummed. The only good news was that Pitta scored one of the TD's for the Ravens.
My Dad and Alec were expecting a powder ski day up at Snowbird yesterday, but the storm was kind of a bust and so instead we headed up to AF canyon to do some back country skiing.
It was a beautiful day up there, so peaceful as it was lightly snowing. We went from Tibble Fork Res to Silver Lake. It was a lot of fun, but I tell you what, I got pretty tired. I actually had them hike ahead I was just going to wait, but then when they came back they said I was so close to the top, so they went up again and I finished the hike. The skiing down was pretty dang fun. I was pretty apprehensive being all pregos and stuff which makes skiing a bit more difficult when you don't just trust yourself. Through the trees the snowplow and I were friends. I probably looked pretty lame, but I was not about to fall! It was a fun day. Jax had a total blast!
So that has been pretty much it from here. I am really hoping for some warmer weather though!!!
