A beginning, middle, and end....

So before we left California I told Alec that I wanted to go and spend the day in SF and do all the tourist stuff. So the day started as we were ready to go and realized the keys had been locked in the car. Well, no big deal most of the time because smart people keep there spare key outside of their car.... not us. The spare was sitting right inside the car along with any hope of getting into our cars ourselves. So we had to call someone to come and open it for $90.... what is up with that:), Geez it only took them like two minutes if that!
Well then we were finally off and ready for a fun day in the city. It was a total blast. We started out getting our yummy clam chowder from the wharf. Love, Love, Love clam chowder. It was great.

Then we decided to walk along fisherman's wharf and Pier 39. It was really fun. It did stinck a little though by these seals.


As we were walking on the wharf we just had to stop at all of the little candy and chocolate shops, I mean come on who wouldn't!:) Here is Alec eating some of the fudge that we got. It was pretty yummy.

Ok, so next stop we had to go and grab some ice cream from Guridelli Square, since we just had not gotten enough sweets as it was:):). OK, so all those who decide to go get ice cream from here, you NEED to try the mint chocolate with dark chocolate fudge. Oh my word, the best I have ever had. It was so yummy!

On the way back to our car we stopped and got some SF shirts as souvenirs. Alec got this sweet white sweatshirt that I love and I got a shirt that says SF in bright colors. It was so, so fun to go and spend some time down there. We decided not to do the trolley, because we had done it a bunch before and it is expensive!
So here was the middle of the day....


The end, ended up not being so great either. So we were at the last light ready to get on to 280, and well we stopped for a yellow and a guy on a motorcycle behind us did not and just crashed into the back of our car. Oh my gosh, it totally freaked me out. He seemed to have only broken his wrist, which was really lucky because he was going pretty fast and the cops think that he probably was putting on the gas to get his speed up to get on the freeway. It was pretty crazy!!!


We then got to dog sit this cute puppy for the next few days. This was my "please can I get a puppy face to Alec":)

So there was our day. It was a fun one with a few hiccups in between!:)
