When we first got up to Rexburg the girls were famished so we stopped at Subway grabbed them a few sandwiches and then headed over to the park to eat them. We went to this park that everybody goes to once the weather starts getting good in Rexburg (meaning like 40 degrees in Rexburg). We found this tree that Alec and I carved our names in a long time ago, I know that is bad:) You can kind of see the names in the tree still if you look really hard.
After that we headed to the grocery store to get some marshmellows to go shooting. You can see Alec and Annie playing marshmellow football in the parking lot.

We then headed back to the ranch to go and show the girls how to shoot marshmellows in the river. It was really fun, but pretty hot! I think they liked it. This was there first time ever shooting a gun. They did pretty good!
After we then went and walked around BYU-I's campus. Oh my gosh, it has changed so much, it was crazy! It was fun though to walk through.

Then we headed over to Teton Valley again. We first went up to Targhee and walked around. They were having a blue grass festival there so there were tons of people. It was so pretty up there. We then headed down to find our campsite. After seeing that our normal spot was taken by a lady whose pants were down a little to far when we drove by, we then took our not so dirt road friendly car to find another spot. We found another spot just down the road that worked. Then the time came to start to put up my parents tent. Are you kidding me. That thing is a total beast!!!!! Alec and I are used to our easy to put up two man tent, none of this army tent stuff. Well, we seriously looked at the tent for like an hour trying to figure out how to put the dang thing up. Then Alec came over to help us after he found fire wood. He then just figured a way to jerry rigg it to keep it up.

We then headed off to go get some dinner at Tony's pizza, and then to the store to grab some rope to keep the tent up. When we got back, this is what our tent looked like, it definitly needed that rope we got at brolims.
So here is a plug for Loki. When we were up at Targhee there were a bunch of vendors up there. We saw this one who was selling the coolest jackets. The jackets have built in mittens and a face sheild for when it is freezing. So Alec loves jackets, he bacame totally upsessed. He decided that was what he was going to buy for his b.day from his mom and my mom. So we drove back up to Targhee after dinner and he got the jacket. It is actually a pretty cool jacket, and he was more excited than a little boy on Christmas day. It was funny!

So the next morning we woke up, super grateful that the tent never fell down on us in the night. We were all starving for breakfast and then realized that the keys got locked in the car. Seriously we need to get a new clicker, we have locked our keys in the car way to much!:) So we had to get a locksmith to come and get us into our car. While Alec was taking care of that we decided that we would get all our stuff ready and get the tent down. We were pretty proud of how fast we got the tent down and over to the car!:)

When Alec got it all figured out we then just had to wait for the locksmith to come. I do have to say locksmiths in Idaho are a lot nicer than locksmiths in Cali, that is for sure!!! While we were waiting we took pictures, threw the hatchet, walked around down by the river, and did a ton of jumping pictures. It was really fun, but we were all still starving to death! So we were super excited when the locksmith got there and we could eat!

Then we headed over to Mesa falls. It was freezing!!! We started out at lower falls and then drove to upper mesa falls. It is so beautiful there!

We had so much fun and hope the girls will want to come camping with us again, even though we had quite a few mishaps on the way!:)

What a fun time in Idaho. I miss that place! Oh and I can't believe Alec did a triathlon at the last minute. Crazy. I've watched Evan do triathlons and I wouldn't EVER do at the last minute. Well I probably wouldn't ever do one. Someday...maybe. :)
